Abstract
A real-time optical synthetic aperture radar (SAR) processor is described. The processor utilizes an acousto-optic device as the input electronic-to-optical transducer and a CCD camera that serves as the optical detector and simultaneously performs the focusing of the SAR image in the azimuth direction.
