Abstract
Lasing (dipole nanolaser) and photo-effect in a nanostructure consisted of metallic nanoparticles and two-level systems (as quantum dots) are predicted. Experimental results on various methods of manufacturing and studying of optical properties of heterogeneous thin layers with nanoparticles of noble metals for future applications in nanolasers and photo voltaic cells are presented.
