Abstract
A brief review of experimental study of copper vapor laser (CVL) coherent properties, and its use in dynamic holography, is presented. A phase conjugation problem for high-gain nonlinear media, such as CVL-medium, is discussed, and experimental results are described. Amplification of holographic images and operation with holographic photorefractive preamplification are discussed.
