Abstract

The collective properties of Ge70,72,74,76 have been explored through the measurement of the transition charge densities of the first two 2+ states up to a momentum transfer of 3.0 fm1. Their spatial structure and their apparently anomalous behavior are readily explained in the framework of the interacting boson model.
