Abstract

The nucleon magnetic moments are computed in lattice QCD in the quenched approximation with Monte Carlo techniques. As a by-product, the magnetic moment of the Ω is also calculated. It is found that μp=2.7±1.0, μn=1.6±0.5, μΩ=1.7±0.6, in nuclear magnetons, and μpμn=1.6±0.2.
