Abstract
We present a measurement of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element based on a sample of about 53 700 decays observed by the BABAR detector. We obtain the branching fraction averaged over , . We measure the differential decay rate as a function of , the relativistic boost of the in the rest frame. By extrapolating to the kinematic limit , we extract the product of and the axial form factor . We combine this measurement with a lattice QCD calculation of to determine
