Abstract
We study the asymptotic behavior of the most general renormalizable theory of charged fermions interacting with photons in 1+1 dimensions. We also show that in 1+1 dimensions Majorana fermions can interact with photons through a nonminimal coupling and we investigate the asymptotic behavior of such a theory with flavors.
