Abstract

A double-Regge model (DRM) has been applied to nπ+π and pππ0 final states produced in πp interactions at 8 GeVc incident beam momentum. Application of the model has been limited to the energy region where all two-body final-state masses are large. Some difficulty exists in trying to understand the qualitative features of all the data in terms of the model. Parameters of the model have been determined for those events which display features consistent with the DRM. These parameters are used to predict distributions in various kinematic variables.
