Abstract

The infrared structure of Reggeon field theory is investigated using renormalization-group methods. The infrared fixed point where only the ϕ3 interaction is nontrivial is shown to be stable with respect to all higher-order interactions within the context of perturbation theory both at D=2 and in the ε expansion. This may imply that the asymptotic behavior of the total cross section is model independent.
