Abstract
We calculate the decay rate for the process in a chiral SU(4)⊗SU(4) model. The presence of two , Goldstone particles in the symmetry limit allows us to extend partially conserved axial-vector current to both and fields. The rate is calculated purely in terms of the symmetry-breaking parameters of the model, under the assumption that the symmetry is broken by the (4*,4) ⊕ (4,4*) representation. We find that the calculated rate is well below the expected experimental rate for reasonable values of the symmetry-breaking parameters.
