Abstract

We report 115In and 59Co nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements in the heavy fermion superconductor CeCoIn5 above and below Tc. The hyperfine couplings of the 115In and 59Co are anisotropic and exhibit dramatic changes below 50 K due to changes in the crystal field level populations of the Ce ions, suggesting localized f electrons. Below Tc the spin susceptibility is suppressed, indicating singlet pairing.
