Abstract

Temperature-dependent inelastic-neutron-scattering measurements were performed on a single crystal of CePd3 over the energy range 10<ω<80 meV. The spectral response cannot be described by a single Lorentzian line as has been used for previous measurements on polycrystalline samples. The two energy scales which emerge from the data analysis correspond to those found in bulk measurements.
