Abstract
We present partial branching fractions for inclusive charmless semileptonic decays , and the determination of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element . The analysis is based on a sample of decays into pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II storage rings. We select events using the invariant mass of the hadronic system, the invariant mass squared, , of the lepton and neutrino pair, the kinematic variable , or one of their combinations. We then determine partial branching fractions in limited regions of phase space: (), (), and (, ). Corresponding values of are extracted using several theoretical calculations.
