Algebraic approach to the two-Skyrmion system

Abstract

The algebraic structure of the two-Skyrmion system is studied by using bosonic quantization of the rotation of the Skyrmion. The adiabatic interbaryonic potential is expressed in terms of boson operators and the large n (number of bosons) behavior is investigated. By identifying n with Nc (number of colors in quantum chromodynamics), 1/n correction terms for realistic n=Nc=3 are studied.
