Target fragment angular distributions for the interaction of 25.2 GeV C12 with Au197

Abstract

The target fragment angular distributions for the interaction of 25.2 GeV C12 with Au197 were measured. The data are generally in agreement with predictions based on the two step model and thick target-thick catcher recoil data.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Au(C12, x), EC12=25.2 GeV, σ(θ), comparison of data with two step model, firestreak model.
