Dephasing-induced vacuum-field Rabi splittings in microcavities with quantum wells

Abstract

We study the effects of dephasing on the vacuum-field Rabi splitting in semiconductor microcavities. We predict dephasing-induced resonances which can be probed by studying the absorption in modulated external fields.
