Lamb shift in a squeezed thermal vacuum

Abstract

We calculate the Lamb shift in the hydrogen atom in a thermal vacuum containing a squeezed mode using thermofield dynamics. We find finite corrections that depend on the temperature and the intensity of the squeezed mode.
