Octet Enhancement in the B and Δ Supermultiplets

Abstract

The bootstrap theory of octet enhancement is described in general, and applied in particular to strong and electromagnetic mass splittings within the JP=12+ baryon octet and J=32+ decuplet. The results are in good agreement with experiment.
