Fixing Caenorhabditis elegans in Paraformaldehyde

INTRODUCTION

Another common method for fixing worms is to use paraformaldehyde. This method provides a gentler fixation than the Bouin’s method, but often requires the use of collagenase. This method is particularly good for examining adult worms.
