Abstract

A brief description is given of a spin-echo attachment to the Varian DP 60, allowing T2 to be measured by the modified Carr-Purcell method, and which is also suitable for two-pulse programmes. The echoes are detected by phase-sensitive detection. New setting instructions are given for correct setting of the 180° pulses and for eliminating the effects of linear drift of the magnetic field.
