Abstract
A study of Na-like satellite structure to Ne-like resonance lines was made in detail for Co, Ni, Cu, Zn ions having intermediate nuclear charge. To record the x-ray spectra, a pulsed laser plasma source was used with various duration and pulse shapes. More than 20 experimental spectral lines were identified belonging to the 2p–3s, 2p–3d, 2s–3p transitions based on comparison with YODA code calculations. To decrease the overlapping of the spectra with lower charge state ions such as O-like ions, the duration and shape of the laser pulse was varied.
