Abstract

Independent-atom model calculations have been carried out and total cross sections for e++H2 scattering have been obtained via the optical theorem in the intermediate- and high-energy region. The authors results are in very good agreement with the recent experimental data of Charlton et al. (1980) beyond 100 eV.
