Zusammenfassung

Nach der Exzision von Gesichtstumoren können Wunden resultieren, die sich auf mehrere ästhetische Einheiten ausdehnen. Bei solchen kombinierten Defekten empfiehlt es sich, zunächst die plastische Deckung für jede einzelne ästhetische Zone zu planen und daraus dann ein Gesamtkonzept für den Wundverschluss zu entwickeln. Dadurch gelingt es meist, die kosmetisch wichtigen Grenzen zwischen den einzelnen ästhetischen Einheiten wiederherzustellen. Anhand einer Defektdeckung an Nasenflügel, Wange und Oberlippe wird dieses Vorgehen erläutert.

Abstract

Excision of a facial tumor may result in a wound that affects multiple aesthetic units. It is advisable to approach such a complicated defect by planning the wound closure for each aesthetic unit individually. In a second step these distinct designs should be integrated into a master plan. This method facilitates the restoration of the important borders between the aesthetic units. We illustrate this concept by reconstructing a defect of the nasal ala, the cheek and the upper lip.
