Technologies for Tb/s-class optical links are demonstrated, including an organic card with 48 integrated waveguides and a silicon-carrier interposer. 4×12-array optical transmitters and receivers operate up to 20 Gb/s and 14 Gb/s per channel, respectively, with <10 mW-per-Gb/s link power dissipation.
