A highly sensitive, multiplex immunoassay using gold nanoparticle-enhanced signal amplification

Abstract

We describe a highly sensitive, multiplex immunoassay utilizing gold nanoparticles for conjugation of detection antibodies with signal generators. The method has been compared with conventional methods and evaluated for simultaneous detection of two different biomarkers in human serum.
