Abstract

The cationic organouranium(V) compounds [U(η-C5Me5)(NMe2)3(thf)][BPh4]1, [U(η-C5Me5)2(Net2)2][BPh4]2 and [U(η-C8H8)(NEt2)2(thf)][BPh4]3, were synthesized by oxidation of the corresponding neutral UIV precursors using AgBPh4; the neutral complex [U(η-C8H8)(η-C5H5)(NEt2)2]4 was isolated from the reaction of [U(η-C8H8)(NEt2)2] with Tl(η-C5H5).
