Nonphototactic Mutants in a Study of Vision of Drosophila

Abstract

Most of the nonphototactic mutants of Drosophila respond to light stimuli with normal electroretinograms. Mutants x-7 and tan, however, seem to represent mutants of the visual pathway. Their electroretinograms have two components—a fast one and a slow one—representing separate processes.
