This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (http://www.elsevier.com/locate/withdrawalpolicy).

This article has been approved for retraction based on the authors’ statement: “Due to experimental errors the data presented in figure 7 are unsubstantiated. Subsequent experiments suggest that RhoA overexpression enhances the swap70b phenotype rather than rescuing it. We therefore can no longer uphold the interpretation that overexpression of RhoA rescued swap70b morphants and must withdraw all conclusions and statements from the manuscript related to this matter. While we are confident that all other data presented in the manuscript are scientifically sound, we have no option but to retract our manuscript in its current form.”
