  • An investigation of symptom burden and quality of life in Chinese chemo-naïve advanced lung cancer patients by using the Instrument-Cloud QOL System

    2014, Lung Cancer
    Citation Excerpt :

Asian patients may tend to be more tolerant of pulmonary symptoms. Finally, in China, the traditional culture which advocates the spirit of forbearance, and high medical costs might restrict the patients from reporting their symptoms [18–20]. We also found that pulmonary and cardiovascular diseases, pleural and brain metastases, relatively poor performance status had significant negative impact on symptoms or QOL.
