Abstract

We calculate the energy correction to the trinucleon (with a central spin-dependent potential) due to high partial waves in the two-body interaction, by using Fuda's first-order t-matrix perturbation theory. We find that waves beyond the 1S0 and 3S1 + 3D1 contribute less than 0.01 MeV.
