2007, Sleep Medicine ReviewsCitation Excerpt :One hundred and twelve studies were identified after the initial search as potentially being relevant to this review. Of these, 91 were excluded—32 were reviews,1,4,7–36 33 were cross-sectional studies,6,37–68 eight were before–after studies with considerable methodological shortcomings,69–76 and the remainder had other methodological problems, did not contain information on appropriate outcomes, or were not appropriate for other reasons.77–94 Twenty-one papers were judged to meet the study criteria.
