Electron-spin-echo envelope modulation with improved modulation depth

Abstract

A five-pulse electron-spin-echo sequence, (π/2)y1y1-(π/2)x-T-(π/2)x2x2, is introduced. The modulation amplitude obtained with this new scheme can be up to a factor of eight larger than in the corresponding three-pulse experiment. The signal contains no unmodulated part. Extensions with further improved modulation amplitude are discussed.
