Penultimate segments A and D bear ultimate segments on only one plane (character 35) whereas segments B and C bear segments on two planes. The frequency of ultimate segment branches on the primary plane (character 12) for segment A = 100%, B = 60% (6 out of 10), C = 62% (5 out of 8), and D = 100%. The frequency of apical pointing ultimate segments (character 13) for segment A = 50% (5 out of 10), B = 50% (2 out of 4), C = 60% (3 out of 5), and D = 66% (2 out of 3).
