A new sixteen-member cyclic depsipeptide, strepeptolide, was isolated from the culture broth of an endophytic actinomycetes strain. The structure of the compound was elucidated by detailed 1D, 2D NMR, HR-ESI-MS, and IR spectroscopic data.
