Mechanochemical conversion of petroleum hydrocarbons

Mechanochemical conversions of paraffinic and aromatic hydrocarbons are studied. It is shown that hydrocarbon destruction and condensation processes occur in equal measure and that under mechanochemical impact aromatic hydrocarbons enter essentially into free-radical alkylation reactions with the destruction products.
