The authors of “Cellular and Matrix Contributions to Tissue Construct Stiffness Increase with Cellular Concentration” [Annals of Biomedical Engineering, Vol. 34, No. 9, September 2006, pp. 1475–1482 (DOI: 10.1007/s10439-006-9160-2)] report the following error:
The ordinate axis label in Figure 8 should read “ECM short-term modulus (MPa).” This and all “moduli” reported in this paper are effective contributions to overall tissue construct stiffness.
