Zusammenfassung

Ein 42-jähriger Patient wurde notfallmäßig mit dem Verdacht auf Retrobulbärneuritis aufgrund eines Zentralskotoms überwiesen. Anamnestisch klagte er über eine Visusminderung am rechten Auge. Die Diagnose ergab eine chronisch-rezidivierende Retinopathia centralis serosa unter langjähriger Kortikosteroideinnahme bei Asthma bronchiale und Morbus Crohn. Es wurde eine photodynamische Therapie (PDT) bei 3 Leckagepunkten am rechten Auge durchgeführt. Die Kortikosteroide wurden abgesetzt.

Abstract

A 42-year-old male patient was transferred as an emergency with suspected retrobulbar neuritis due to a central scotoma. He had suffered from reduced vision in the right eye in the past. The diagnosis was chronic recurrent retinopathy centralis serosa due to many years of corticosteroid intake for bronchial asthma and Crohn’s disease. Photodynamic therapy was carried out on the right eye and the corticosteroids were discontinued
