Zusammenfassung
Hintergrund. In der magnetresonanztomographischen Diagnostik (MRT) wurden in den letzten Jahren enorme Fortschritte erzielt. Hierzu zählen u. a. die neuen Entwicklungen im Bereich der MR-Spektroskopie, der Diffusionsbildgebung und insbesondere der funktionellen MRT (fMRT), die teilweise bereits in der klinischen Praxis eingesetzt werden.
Ziel des Artikels. Ziel dieses Artikels ist die Darstellung dieser Techniken mit Betonung ihrer aktuellen und potenziellen Anwendung in der Kinderheilkunde, insbesondere im Bereich der Bildgebung des Nervensystems.
Abstract
Background. Enormous progress has been made in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in recent years.This among other things includes the new developments in MR-spectroscopy or diffusion imaging and especially functional MRI, some of which are already in use in clinical practice.
Aim of the article. The scope of this article is an introduction to these techniques and their actual and potential applications in pediatrics, especially with regard to CNS-imaging.
