Abstract
The predatory mitePhytoseiulus persimilis Athias-Henriot is widely used for biological control of spider mites in greenhouse. Despite its records from various Mediterranean countries,P. persimilis was not recorded from Turkey. Here we report the natural colonies ofP. persimilis observed along the Mediterranean coast of Turkey.
