Summary
The lifetimes of the Λ0, ϑ0, and Σ− observed in bubble chamber photographs have been calculated. The following values are obtained: τΛ°=(2.29 +.15-.13 )·10-10 s on the basis of 454 events; τθ°=(1.06 +0.8-.06 ) ·10-10s on the basis of 259 events and τΣ°=(1.89 +.33-.25 )·10-10 s on the basis of 107 events. A comparison with previous values of the mean lives is presented.

Sono state calcolate le vite medie delle Λ0, ϑ0 e Σ− osservate in camere a bolle. I valori ottenuti sono i seguenti: τΛ°=(2.29 +.15-.13 )·10-10 s, in base a 454 eventi; τθ°=(1.06 +0.8-.06 )·10-10 s in base a 259 eventi; τΣ°=(1.89 +.33-.25 )·10-10 s, in base a 107 eventi. Viene presentato un confronto con precedenti valori delle stesse vite medie.
