New inhomogeneous viscous-fluid cosmologies

  • Published:
Lettere al Nuovo Cimento (1971-1985)

Summary

Two new classes of exact inhomogeneous cosmological solutions of the Einstein field equations with a viscous fluid as matter content are presented. They are algebraically general and admit one Killing vector. The metric can be interpreted as a Kantowski-Sachs background with an inhomogeneity which decreases with time.
