Abstract
A new equation governing local rotational inertia is obtained here for all theories employing the Cosserat continuum with deformable director triad. This equation represents a condition necessary to insure the invariance of the rotational kinetic energy under superposed rigid body motions.
Zusammenfassung
Eine neue Gleichung, die die lokale rotationelle Trägheit bestimmt, wird angegeben für alle Theorien die das Cosserat-Kontinuum mit verformbarer Richtungs-Triade benützen. Diese Gleichung gibt die notwendige Bedingung für die Invarianz der rotationellen kinetischen Energie bei Ueberlagerung der Bewegung eines starren Körpers.
