Abstract
The reaction between the polymeric organotin fluorides R3SnF (R=Bun or Ph) with alkali metal salts NaX (X=Cl. Br. OCN, or SCN) in an ultrasonic field leads to rapid formation of monomeric R3SnX species in good yields.
