Summary

Unilateral intraocular involvement in Burkitt’s lymphoma with preservation of the other orbit is being reported in a nine year old Nigerian boy. The most probable origin of this tumor in this case is the maxillary sinus. In contrast to Burkitt’s series we found definitive involvement of the globe. Treatment consisted of enucleation with intravenous cyclophosphamide. In the follow-up of three months there was no involvement of the other orbit or eye.
