Abstract
Here we present a new method of constructing ladder simulation filters using the complex scaling and negative immittance converter (NIC) embedding. This method saves the number of operational amplifiers, and thereby lowers the cost and power consumption. It also avoids floating elements, and is easy to adjust. It still acquires the merit of low sensitivity. The problem of error minimization and stability are also discussed.
