Detection of enzymes by “spot” tests

Summary

A simple method for the detection and characterisation of enzymes in microquantities of biological fluids, is described. Its applications in determining the enzyme make-up of tissue fluids and extracts and in surveying the distribution of enzymes in nature are indicated.
