Eine äußere Fixation des Schultergelenks nach Operationen oder zur konservativen Therapie von Frakturen sollte einfach anzulegen und bequem sein. Es sollte Zugang zu Wunden erlauben und eine beschränkte physiotherapeutische Behandlung ermöglichen.

Methodik

Ein neues, vorgefertigtes Bandagensystem wird vorgestellt.

Ergebnisse

Das neue Bandagensystem fixiert das Schultergelenk sowohl nach Operationen wie auch im Rahmen einer konservativen Therapie. Verbandwechsel und Nahtentfernungen sind sehr gut möglich.

Schlußfolgerungen

Das neue, vorgefertigte Bandagensystem erfüllt optimal die geforderten Kriterien.

External fixation of the shoulder joint following operations or for conservative therapy should be easy to apply and be comfortable. It should give access to wounds and should permit limited physiotherapy.

Method

A new bandage system is described.

Results

This new bandage allows optimal immobilisation of the shoulder joint postoperatively and during conservative treatment. Changing the local bandage and removing the stitches can be performed without problems.

Conclusions

The new bandage fullfills all required criteria.
