Abstract

The relative merits of different available coded aperture techniques are considered with reference to their applicability to nuclear medicine radionuclide imaging. The theory and practical implementation using gamma camera and computer system of two such methods deconvolution and arithmetic reconstruction technique are described. Some initial results are presented and the implications discussed.
