Zusammenfassung
Hypothalamus, Hypophysenstiel, Hypophysenhinterlappen und -vorderlappen wurden bei 50 Menschen auf Oxytocin- und Arginin-Vasopressinaktivität untersucht. In allen 4 Geweben wurde Vasopressin and Oxytocin gefunden, wobei das Verhältnis der beiden Polypeptide (V/O) von 3.9 (Hypothalamus) bis 0.7 (Vorderpol der Adenohypophyse) variierte. Der quantitative Nachweis der beiden Polypeptide im Hypophysenvorderlappen ist speziell interessant im Hinblick auf die Auffassung, dass die Adenohypophyse unter hypothalamischer Kontrolle steht.
