Alternating activity between neurons of lateral geniculate nucleus and superior colliculus in rabbit

Summary

In rabbits, simultaneous recordings of unitary activity of lateral geniculate nucleus and superior colliculus revealed that some neurons of these structures presented fluctuations in their firing pattern which are opposite in phase.
